Betty’s journey began as both a calling and revelation over 25 years ago. She recognized that while many wellness programs focused on the body and mind, few addressed the spirit as the true starting point of healing. Through scripture, prayer, and holistic health practices, Betty developed DIET & LIVE to bridge that gap—helping others realign their lives so that God speaks to the spirit, the spirit speaks to the mind, and the mind speaks to the body.

Her professional background includes decades of experience in nursing, health education, and corporate consulting. She is the founder of Health Spectrum Worksite Solutions, a health and safety company, and continues to serve her community through the People Empowering People Project (PEPP), a nonprofit that fosters wellness and spiritual well-being. Betty has also served as a Chaplain and active member of the Health and Wellness Ministry at Payne Avenue Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN.

A graduate of The University of Tennessee (Master of Public Health; Bachelor of Science in Education) and The Catholic University of America (Bachelor of Science in Nursing), Betty is also a Certified Case Manager (CCM) and a proud member of Upsilon Chi Chapter, Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc., Upsilon Chi Chapter, where she has served in multiple leadership roles, including President, Vice President, and Chaplain.

Today, Betty is leading a growing community of churches, health professionals, and wellness practitioners who are becoming licensed DIET & LIVE partners—using her framework to start support groups, faith-based workshops, and wellness programs across the country.

Her mission remains clear:

“To empower individuals to achieve a balance of spirit, mind, and body—allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and guide them toward transformation from the inside out.”
